Filling
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
Wrappers and Frying
- 30–40 wonton wrappers
- Vegetable oil, for frying (about 2 cups)
- Prepare the Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese with the finely chopped green onions. Mix thoroughly until smooth and evenly combined.
- Fill the Wrappers: Place a wonton wrapper on a clean surface. Spoon about 1 teaspoon of the cream cheese mixture into the center of the wrapper. Be careful not to overfill.
- Seal the Wontons: Moisten the edges of the wrapper with a little water using your finger. Fold the wrapper to form a triangle or a traditional rangoon shape, pressing firmly to seal all edges and prevent leakage during frying.
