Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 3/4 cup sour cream
  • 2 teaspoons garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 10 ounces frozen spinach, thawed and drained
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prepare: Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Spray a 1-quart baking dish with non-stick cooking spray to prevent sticking and set it aside for later use.
  2. Mix Cream Base: In a medium-sized bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sour cream. Use a hand mixer to blend these ingredients until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  3. Add Seasonings and Cheese: Stir in the minced garlic, onion powder, shredded mozzarella, grated Parmesan, kosher salt, and black pepper. Fold the thawed and drained spinach gently into the mixture until all ingredients are well combined.
  4. Bake the Dip: Spread the spinach mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish. Place it in the preheated oven and bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the dip is heated through and bubbly on top.
  5. Serve Warm: Remove from the oven and serve the dip warm with sliced bread, baguette pieces, or crackers for dipping and enjoying.

Notes

  • Ensure spinach is well drained to avoid excess moisture in the dip.
  • You can prepare this dip a few hours ahead and refrigerate, then bake right before serving.
  • For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes.
  • This dip pairs wonderfully with fresh vegetable sticks as a lower-carb option.
  • Leftover dip can be stored in an airtight container refrigerated for up to 3 days and reheated.
