Ingredients

Scale

Slider Ingredients

  • 12 Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • 6 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup pickled jalapeno peppers, diced
  • 3 cups shredded cooked chicken
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Topping

  • 2 tablespoons Challenge Butter Lawry’s Seasoned Salt Snack Spread

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350˚F (175˚C) to prepare for baking the sliders.
  2. Prepare Jalapeno Cream Cheese Mixture: In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and diced pickled jalapenos. Mix thoroughly until the jalapenos are evenly incorporated throughout the cream cheese.
  3. Assemble Sliders: Slice the Hawaiian rolls horizontally and place the bottom halves in a baking dish. Evenly spread the jalapeno cream cheese mixture over the roll bottoms. Layer the shredded chicken on top, gently pressing it into the cream cheese layer. Sprinkle the shredded sharp cheddar cheese over the chicken, then cover with the top halves of the rolls.
  4. Cut Individual Sliders: Using a serrated knife, carefully cut between each sandwich to separate the sliders but keep them together in the baking dish for easy serving and baking.
  5. Prepare Butter Topping: Melt the 2 tablespoons of Challenge Butter Lawry’s Seasoned Salt Snack Spread. Brush the melted butter evenly over the tops of the rolls and into the spaces between sliders.
  6. Bake the Sliders: Place the sliders in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes until the cheese is melted and the tops of the rolls are beautifully golden brown.
  7. Serve: Remove the sliders from the oven and serve immediately while warm and melty.

Notes

  • You can use pre-cooked rotisserie chicken or leftover chicken to save time.
  • Adjust the amount of jalapenos to control the heat level to your preference.
  • For a sharper flavor, substitute sharp cheddar with pepper jack cheese.
  • Brush the butter topping generously for a richer flavor and crispy top.
  • Serve with extra pickled jalapenos or ranch dressing for dipping if desired.
