Mini Brie Bites Ingredients
7 ounces Brie cheese, cut into small cubes
1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
2 tablespoons jam (such as raspberry, apricot, or fig)
Instructions
Prepare Puff Pastry: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Roll out the thawed puff pastry sheet onto a lightly floured surface and cut it into approximately 12 equal squares.
Assemble Bites: Place a small cube of Brie cheese in the center of each puff pastry square. Add about a half teaspoon of your chosen jam on top of the cheese.
Bake: Transfer the filled puff pastry squares onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the pastry is puffed and golden brown.
Serve: Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving warm as delightful bite-sized appetizers.
Notes
You can use any type of jam depending on your taste preference; apricot and fig pair especially well with Brie.
For easier handling, chilling the puff pastry slightly before cutting can prevent sticking.
Serve with fresh herbs or a drizzle of honey for an elevated flavor.
These bites are best enjoyed warm but can be reheated briefly in the oven.
