Delightful Strawberry Cheesecake Rolls made with buttery crescent dough filled with a creamy sweetened cream cheese mixture and fresh strawberries, baked until golden and perfect for a delicious dessert or breakfast treat.

Ingredients

Scale

Dough

  • 1 package crescent dough (8 oz)

Filling

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and chopped

Instructions

  1. Prepare Filling: In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with granulated sugar until smooth and creamy. Gently fold in the chopped strawberries, mixing just to combine.
  2. Fill Dough: Unroll the crescent dough onto a clean surface and separate into individual triangles. Spoon a generous amount of the cream cheese and strawberry filling onto the wider end of each triangle.
  3. Roll Dough: Starting at the wide end, roll each triangle up toward the pointed tip tightly but gently to avoid squeezing out the filling. Place the rolls seam side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake Rolls: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake the filled crescent rolls for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown and puffed. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Use fresh, ripe strawberries for the best flavor and sweetness.
  • For added texture, sprinkle a little cinnamon or add chopped nuts to the cream cheese filling.
  • Serve warm or at room temperature; these rolls are great fresh but can be reheated gently.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container and consume within 2 days for optimal freshness.
